Info for International Students

What is a study association?

If you are an international student looking to start your studies in Transport, Infrastructure and Logisitics (TIL) or Traffic and Transport Engineering (TTE) at the TU Delft, you have come to the right place!
Dispuut Verkeer (which roughly translates to "traffic association") is the study association for these two Master programmes.

But what are student/study associations?

As you might realise once you move to the Netherlands, a lot of the social life on and around the university campus is organized in associations.
There are student associations for sports, culture, social gettogethers and much more.

What makes Dispuut Verkeer and other Dutch study associations different is the fact that we are integrated into the student life.
This means that the association is tightly linked to the related study programmes.
Dispuut Verkeer offers a good mix of not only parties, but also academic events or career oppurtunities.
If you want to find out more about the events and support that Dispuut Verkeer offers, you can go here.

Why join?

While this concept is very widespread in the Netherlands, associations like this might not be familiar to you depending on your cultural background.
But don't let this scare you, everybody is welcome at Dispuut Verkeer!

For a very small yearly contribution, you get the oppurtunity to take part in a variety of activities and events throughout the entire academic year.
None of them are mandatory, so you can choose your own pace, but of course, we are always happy to see you!

If this sounds promising to you and you would like to become part of Dispuut Verkeer, you can fill out the member form here.
