The TU Delft Writing Centre
The Writing Centre provides help with academic writing for Bachelor’s and Master’s students, as well as for PhD candidates. Students can benefit from a one-on-one free 45-minute long session with a Writing Centre coach. Currently, the coaches are fellow students at the TU Delft, which allows for a friendly, informal, judgement-free atmosphere between the coach and the student. The coaches are there to listen and brainstorm together with the student instead of grade the student’s text. Beside grading, coaches also do not provide editing services, as well as content-related advice. However, any questions regarding for instance how to reference a source properly, how to avoid plagiarism, how to structure the text, how to conduct a literature study, how to find motivation to write (and many more) are welcome! Currently, the Writing Centre is open almost every day (including weekends), and sessions are provided in multiple languages both online and in person on campus. The TU Delft Repository
The TU Delft Repository contains scientific documents, past theses of fellow TU Delft students, historical documents from the TU Delft, images, audio and video files, maps (and more) which have a link to the university. It is a valuable source that students can use to get inspiration for their own reports and theses and see examples of what might be expected for a thesis to look like (for instance). Background Information for Civil Engineering
This site is designed to give an overview of the base knowledge for all Civil Engineering students. This includes the information needed for the TTE-track of the Civil Engineering masters. If you want to refresh your knowledge about the bachelor subjects, this site is the place to be!
PSOR
For a better connection between you and your project group, having a drink a PSOR can be encouraged. PSOR is opened every Thursday and once a month Dispuut Verkeer organises the V-Drinks with free drinks for all Dispuut Verkeers members.
