Mott MacDonald Netherlands is part of the global engineering, management, and consultancy firm Mott MacDonald. Global collaboration is key to way we deliver for our clients.
Our Dutch branch focuses on Transport (specifically rail and light rail), Energy and Infrastructure Finance projects within the Benelux. We often support other Mott MacDonald offices around the world with technical expertise. Our main local office is in the city centre of Utrecht. We have also an office in Arnhem. In total there are about 100 staff members working for the legal entity Mott MacDonald B.V.

Rail-related transport projects are a core business for our Dutch team. We have been involved in most of the latest major light rail projects within the Netherlands, including the Noord/Zuidlijn, the Amstelveen- and Uithoornlijn in Amsterdam, the Uithoflijn in Utrecht and tram 19 on the Delft University Campus. Through our international offices, we support many transit authorities globally, with key projects including the Ontario Line in Toronto, Canada, Sydney Metro in Australia and the New York Subway.
Our typical services include project management, contract management and technical management as well as advisory studies and reviews. Furthermore, we provide technical expertise (including risk management and technical due diligence) to lenders of infrastructure, buildings, and wind and solar parks.
Within Mott MacDonald you will quickly find yourself, together with senior colleagues, in technical advisory or project management roles. Starting with Mott MacDonald Netherlands provides excellent opportunities if you are interested in a period abroad. Over the past years, our younger colleagues have worked in the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, Australia, US and Canada.
