Have you ever imaged how does the city look like without any car traffic? Which affects will be created in the traffic and transport system of a city and also how the society will adapted to the a city with cars? During our V-lunch lecture professor B. van Arem will give a small lecture about his new launched project, The XCARCITY. The XCARCITY project investigates whether and how urban areas can function without private cars, and to which new urban designs this could lead.
