The Academic Year Prize is coming.
Participating in the Academic Year Prize creates an opportunity for researchers, PhD students and the results of their research to be put in the spotlight with a large audience. If a team from your university gets into the top three finalists teams, you will be frequently included in the communication.
The Academic Year Prize wants to motivated researchers, PhD students to show the results of their research to a wide audience. With the prize of 100,000 euros, a team of scientists, PhD students can realize the winning proposal. The competition is open to teams from the Dutch universities, university medical centers, affiliated to KNAW or NWO research institutes, TNO, GTI’s and other non-commercial research.
The jury, chaired by Paul Schnabel, director of the Social and Cultural Planning Office, will nominate three teams to further develop their communication plans. The three finalist teams also play along to win the Labyrinth-audience price, organized by the television stations VPRO / NTR. The winner will receive a report in an editorial of the Labyrinth broadcasts.
